Delsym is a brand name medication for humans used as a cough suppressant. The generic name for Delsym is dextromethorphan, which also may be prescribed to your dog to relieve his cough.
Warnings
Do not administer Delsym to your dog without first consulting your veterinarian for proper dosage instructions. Depending on the cause of your dog's cough, he may need additional treatments such as antibiotics or steroids.
