How to Keep Fleas, Ticks & Mosquitoes Away Without Chemicals

By braniac | Updated September 26, 2017

Items you will need

  • One Jar Minced Garlic

  • Spray Bottle

  • Water

I use this spray for my pets, kids and my yard and have had no issues with ticks, fleas or mosquitoes this year. And, since it's just water and garlic, there are no harmful chemicals to worry about. This is also great for camping, hiking, etc. Just use a small amount on your shoes and legs to keep ticks away.

Add a few tablespoons of the liquid from the jar of minced garlic to about 2-3 cups of water.

Then, add a few spoonfuls of the minced garlic to the mix, and put a bit of water back into the jar (for future mixtures).

Pour the mix into a spray bottle and you're ready to go.
